This is how to better combat imposter syndrome

Imposter syndrome is a feeling self-doubt in high achieving individuals. Imposter syndrome hinders confidence, decision-making, and a willingness to take on challenges.

Overcoming imposter syndrome doesn't happen by magic. It takes focussed and deliberate work.

Results don't happen overnight. They're a product of consistent effort. 💪

So, what exactly does it take to overcome imposter syndrome?

Hint: It's all about shifting your mindset.

1) Smarter thinking. Identify, challenge and reframe negative thought patterns. Understand that everyone experiences moments of self-doubt. Imperfections are a natural part of the human experience.

2) Self-compassion. Treat yourself with the same kindness you would offer to a friend facing similar challenges. Practice mindfulness and motivational self-talk. These will give you a more understanding and supportive relationship with yourself.

3) Use your strengths. Focus on your strengths and achievements to build a more positive and realistic self-perception. Seek feedback and validation from trusted mentors, colleagues, or friends to help build robust confidence.
