DR RICH SILLE
HCPC-registered SPORT & PERFORMANCE PSYCHOLOGIST
I have over 25 years’ experience working in the high performance settings of sport and financial services.
My career began in 1997, training as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young. Over my career, I’ve held managerial and CFO roles in Audit, Insolvency, Investment Management, Private Banking, and Information Technology sectors, including at a FTSE 250 Company.
In 2017 I changed careers, having retrained as an HCPC-registered Sport & Performance Psychologist, working in high performance sport settings. Over the years, I have had the privilege of coaching some fantastic individuals and teams, including Olympians, professional athletes, and motorcycle road racers. I’m also employed as the principal Sport & Performance Psychologist at Isle of Man Sport, supporting athletes, parents, and coaches at all stages of the performance pathway.
Bringing together my business acumen and my performance psychology knowledge and experience, I work in sport, performing arts, and business, helping ambitious individuals and teams create real and lasting change.

Away From Work
Outside of my professional role, I enjoy endurance challenges that push me to my physical and mental limits.
I’ve taken part in many ultra endurance races including the Three Peaks Yacht Race, Manx Mountain Marathon, Fellsman, and 85-mile Parish Walk, completing the event on four consecutive occasions between 2021 and 2024.
I love fell running, cycling, and taking walks in the countryside with my wife and two young children.
I also enjoy travel and reading, particularly philosophy and biographies.
